The red panda is a small mammal found in the eastern Himalayas and southwestern China and mainly eats bamboo. Like the red panda from Schleich® Wild Life, at first glance the animal looks like a cross between a raccoon, fox and cat. Despite the name, the panda is not actually a bear at all. The red panda is a special species with the scientific name Ailuridae.
