Schleich 14843 Warthog

The warthog of the Schleich® WILD LIFE themed world is a mammal living in Africa that mainly eats roots, tubers and berries. It has wart-like growths under the eyes and above the nose. But those are not real warts, but a very thick layer of skin. This protects the animals against serious injuries during fights. With their tusks, warthogs defend themselves against lions, hyenas and wild dogs.
